Isometrics is exercising like pushing against a brick wall, trying to lift a 300 Lb weight.
Its primary focus is pushing against an immovable object to gain strength.
My observation was that GM Kasparov never viewed playing against Computers as an Isometric exercise.
Maybe his Championship Chess could out match any man / machine in the World.
Sometimes Grandmasters plays Blitz Chess with a gameplan/strategy which restricts "Open Files."
My question is, Is it truly unbelievable that a Grandmaster player could not:
-- Create his own plan for a winning Open File attack or Pawn break
-- Outplay a Computer after its resulting PxP exchange.
Why not turn a Computer's advantage against itself, and outplay them in what appears to be their Trump;
Pawn breaks / Open files / Combinations.
